Award-winning Navajo artist, Sunshine Reeves, created this concho belt, Circa 1990's. The concho is sterling silver set with natural lapis in a cluster design. Nine oval conchos measure 3" across by 2 5/8" at the widest. The buckle measures 3 1/2" across by 3" wide. Gorgeous deep blue perfectly matched lapis is set in a modified cluster, with graduated stones encircling the center stone. And each concho is encircled with oval lapis stones, set within the hand-stamped scallops around the concho edges. Each concho also backed in leather. A gorgeous example of why Sunshine Reeves is considered one of the best silversmiths.
