Award winning Santo Domingo Pueblo artist Joseph Coriz created this sterling silver overlay story bracelet, featuring pueblo scenes beneath starry skies (including 14k stars and moons). Rain nourishes the corn which blesses the village. Joseph calls the scenes mirror images, a representation of the past, present and future. They depict the past of Chaco Canyon and the present of today's village of Kewa (Santo Domingo), and represent the power of tradition and family to give strength to persevere and grow. A tangible connection from past to present is the natural Cerrillos turquoise from New Mexico. Cerrillos is the most ancient mine worked by ancestors of Santo Domingo Pueblo. The bracelet is approximately 3/4" wide and will fit a 6 3/8" wrist, including a 1 1/8" opening.
