Robert was world-reknowned for his handmade necklaces, because of his chubby creatures with personality, and the glass beads he incorporated from all over the world, and always finished with handmade brass cones and hook and eyes. His unique creations are in collections all over the world. Vidal Aragon (deceased) of Santo Domingo Pueblo created this Sterling silver Bolo (circa 1970's). Really the one and only Vidal, instantly recognizable for his deep, single continuous jewelry saw cut creating a story in overlay. This is one of his more intricate designs, featuring a pueblo surrounded by a procession of animals. The animals represent the migration of the ancient ones, seeking their center place. Also features Vidal's signature handmade tips. Bolo measures 1 3/4" long by 1 1/2" at the widest (and has a Bennett clip). Tips measure 2 7/8". Lanyard is approximately 42".
