Zuni Pueblo artist Quinton Quam created this very unusual hinged link bracelet. Eleven birds encircle the wrist on individual convex links, each measuring approximately 1/2" wide by 1" in length. The 11-link bracelet is 1" wide by 8" in length (including the finishing of 1/2" ring and toggle). The links have 1-gambel quail, 1 snowowl, 1-roadrunner, 1-redbird, 1 bluejay, 1-eagle, 1-cardinal, 1-oriole, 2-hummingbirds and 1-flamingo. The material Quinton used is all natural turquoise, malachite, red coral, angel skin coral, lapis, melon shell, mother-of-pearl, jet and abalone.
